Community Activities

WE ARE A COMMUNITY THAT LEARNS & HAS FUN TOGETHER – JOIN US!

When you connect with our chapter at one of our events, you’re stepping into a community that cares about the rivers in our region, brings people together to make a difference and learn new skills, and creates opportunities to have fun with like-minded anglers and conservationists.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION – STAY TUNED … Our community events are fun, friendly and low-pressure ways to have fun while doing good, growing your fishing skills and making new friends along the way. Each year we offer:

  • Regular fishing trips on local rivers and streams where experienced angler hosts share their knowledge
  • Monthly chapter gatherings
  • Social nights like fly tying events, fly fishing films and meet-ups at a Leavenworth watering hole.

Last year, we held a variety of events, bringing together local anglers and conservationists to come together, share stories, exchange ideas and knowledge, raise a pint and more. Check out our calendar of events and join us!

MONTHLY CHAPTER GATHERINGS

UNDER CONSTRUCTION – STAY TUNED … every month from ____ through ______ we come together at _____ to share fishing stories, meet new people and hear from informational and inspiring speakers on conservation or fishing topics. These fun, friendly and free monthly events are low-pressure and open to the public. They are a great way to dip your toe into the TU community.

LOCAL FISHING TRIPS

UNDER CONSTRUCTION – STAY TUNED … The best way to learn new waters and grow your fishing skills is by spending time with the experienced anglers of the Icicle Valley Chapter. Join us as we explore Fish Lake, the Icicle, Entiat, Wenatchee and the lakes and streams of the Methow Valley.

SOCIAL EVENTS & NIGHTS OUT

UNDER CONSTRUCTION – STAY TUNED … Throughout the year we host a range of events designed to create fun, social opportunities for people who love fishing and caring for our rivers to come together. Are you interested in tying flies at a winter “Barflies” tying night? Helping wrap packages or take pictures of young anglers on Santa’s during Leavenworth’s Holiday Fest Hall? We invite everyone to join us and become part of our vibrant and growing angling community here in Leavenworth.
