About Icicle Valley TU

The mission of the Washington Council of Trout Unlimited and the Icicle Valley Chapter is to "conserve, protect and restore" cold water fisheries, their watersheds and ecosystems, as a means of maintaining our quality of life!

Our chapter is passionate about our beautiful watershed, the Icicle Valley, in Leavenworth, Washington. We live in a small mountain town, with the gorgeous Wenatchee River flowing though.  Our river is fed by the pristine Alpine Lakes Wilderness, which hosts incredible high mountain lakes.

Our chapter is continually working with other organizations to protect our cold water fisheries.  We also share our joy of fishing with our youth, giving them a strong understanding of the importance of our waterways. We also connect with our community by selling local salmon at Oktoberfest to create funds for a scholarship for our high school seniors.

Our montly meetings are open to the public and usually involve a speaker on a variety of topics. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month from 6-8 pm at the Icicle Inn. Please check out our calendar for the details of each event. During the summer, our evening meetings are switched to picnics and river events, so we do not have meetings in June, July or August. We are always needing volunteers for our events and work parties. If you would like to volunteer or have any questions, please connect with us!
